What we collect
ScoutPrices has no user accounts. When you search, your query and the stores you selected are sent to our server to fetch prices. We keep short-lived server logs (IP address, request time, query) for abuse prevention and debugging; they are deleted automatically within 30 days.
What stays in your browser
Your preferred currency and store selection are saved in your browser's local storage so they are remembered next time. Nothing else is stored by ScoutPrices itself.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
Amazon links
Buy buttons lead to Amazon. Once you are on Amazon, Amazon's own privacy policy applies. Links carry an affiliate tag so Amazon can attribute purchases to ScoutPrices; the tag does not identify you.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you or ask for it to be deleted by emailing sponsors@scoutprices.com.
